WRP Engagements - {Lauren and Bo}

Wes RobertsComment

We are so excited to share these images with you...I mean, I am giddy! We met Lauren over a year ago through a mutual friend when we were looking for an additional hair and makeup artist for our high school senior sessions. Since that time, Lauren has become a great friend and such a sweet blessing to our business. God definitely places the right people at the right time in our path! When Lauren told us that her boyfriend, Bo, had proposed, we immediately said..."we have to shoot your wedding, duh!" We are so excited for them! This sweet couple has honored Christ every step of the way with their relationship and will say "I Do" in December! We are so thankful to be a part of their journey!

I am in love with their sweet engagement pictures! I am sure you will love them too!

Location: Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountain, Georgia

Have a great Wednesday!

We had a blast last weekend with a few of our 2017 Senior Models. We spent the afternoon at Farmer in the Dell Pumpkin Patch in Auburn, Alabama! It was an afternoon of hayrides, picking pumpkins, playing with baby animals, climbing on old tractors and picking sunflowers. We love hanging out with these girls! Happy Fall Y'all!

WRP Weddings - {Hannah's Bridal Session}

It's so hard for us to keep secrets...especially when we have to hide bridal images until after the wedding day is over. We would not want to give the groom a sneak peek of his bride and her dress...so once the wedding is over...it's our turn to show off the bride and her dress!

Here is a fun bridal session of Hannah! We shot her bridal images at The Waters in Pike Road, Alabama. A fun outdoor location with lots of different backgrounds that make for amazing images!

Have a great day!!!

Our Story of Struggle and Victory, Part 2...{Picture My Abilities}

Wes RobertsComment

You never dream your child will struggle. When they place that sweet bundle of joy in your arms you immediately have big dreams and plans for them...you never imagine that life and learning will be a struggle...that they will struggle socially and be delayed behind their peers...this was now our reality...

The evaluations were done by Alabama Early Intervention and we were told our sweet 2 year old had extreme developmental delays, and sensory integration issues. He was delayed in the areas of speech/communication, fine motor and cognitive. At 2 years old, he tested with almost a year delay. Where do we go from here? Thankfully, God placed the right people in our life at the right time (because He's just pretty awesome like that). Alabama Early Intervention (which is a FREE service to any family in Alabama that suspects a delay in their child under the age of 3) was amazing to work with! All of the evaluations are done at your home! They meet you where you are and make it absolutely easy on each family!  Our case manager was so supportive and helped us come up with a reasonable plan and goals to start pushing Brock Allen to catch up to his peers. Since one of his biggest areas of delay was communication and langauge, we really focused on speech therapy. We were blessed with an incredible speech therapist that came to our house twice a week and did one on one therapy sessions with Brock Allen. When I tell you that God worked out the details, he truly did. Everyone that was placed in our path encouraged us, cried with us, and held our hand. They loved Brock Allen and wanted the best for him. It's a scary place to be when you open your home to people you don't know and hope that they can help your son at the same time. It's a whole new level of vulnerability and humbleness. They saw us at our worst some days, including a messy house and dishes in the sink.

As therapy progressed, we saw our son start to grasp things he hadn't before. He started communicating a little better, instead of screaming for his milk, he began to try to say  "cup." He started sitting and attempting to follow one to two step directions. We began to see God grow his intellect.  Brock Allen was making progress, but still had a ways to go. He still struggled with any social setting, loud noises, birthday parties, separation anxiety, and appropriate interactions with other children, just to name a few.

We continued to trust God, pray over our child, and we trusted that God had a plan for him....a big plan. Instead of feeling discouraged, we began to claim this time as part of the awesome testimony that God was building in him and our family.

Our sweet boy...He had broken his foot and was sporting a red cast in this  picture. He was and still is wide-open and very active, always going non-stop. That sometimes got him hurt, and this was one of those times. Thankful for these memories…

Our sweet boy...He had broken his foot and was sporting a red cast in this  picture. He was and still is wide-open and very active, always going non-stop. That sometimes got him hurt, and this was one of those times. Thankful for these memories, the heartache, the joys, and the victories we have experienced throughout this journey! He was about 29 months old in this picture.

Thank you for continuing this journey with us as we share our hearts and story with you.

Have a blessed day!

We love bridal sessions! It's such a fun way to get great images in your dress without the pressure and rush of the wedding day! It's a time for you to relax and just enjoy being all dressed up and girly for few hours. Erin's bridal session in Troy, AL was such a fun afternoon! Her dress was stunning and we were blessed to be a part of this time in her life! We have been keeping these images a secret until after her wedding...so now that the wedding images have been shared...here's her amazing bridal images!
