After 7 years of being with a fantastic real estate broker, Deborah decided to step out with a new company and build a team. On a dream of building something that will serve families and help them find their dream homes, she started Lake and Pines Home and Land Group.

As we talked about what she needed imagery-wise, we talked about getting the images that would help her introduce the team as well as images to celebrate them as they do great things. In addition, we talked about the impact of a first and lasting impression on potential clients and getting headshots that reflect approachability and trustworthiness. I am excited for this Debroah and the Lake and Pines Group as they start off on this new adventure!

Chris' Real Estate Headshots: Auburn, Opelika, Phenix City and Columbus GA Headshot Photographer

I recently had the opportunity to do some headshots for Chris. Chris is starting a new step into real estate with Keller Williams River Cities and based on our conversations, I’m excited for both him and the clients he will serve. Chris wanted some headshots for marketing that would speak to the area he would be serving and keep a look of top professionalism. During our planning meeting, I try to find out about the person I’m working with, their background, and where they are coming from. I do this so that we might be able to communicate some of this within the pictures so that it resonates with potential clients. With Chris, he comes from a background where paying attention to the details speaks of craftsmanship and care…where you put in hard work to make your clients happy. And where starting out with a good look for your brand will carry you steps ahead of others. Chris is going to do great things in this industry!

Headshot Tip!!! When you are planning your wardrobe, think about the seasons. Having headshots and a wardrobe that speaks to the current season you are in will benefit you tremendously and keep you fresh in the viewer’s eyes. For example…thinking ahead, bring a fall outfit. As the weather cools, update your profile pic and the social media algorithm will put you back into more of your friends’ feeds. Sports fan? bring something and use it. These small things with a quick post and comment can lead to connections that lead to clients.

6 Reasons To Elevate Your Real Estate Brand with Captivating Branding Photography in Auburn AL and Columbus GA

HEADSHOTS & BRANDINGWes RobertsComment

In the competitive world of real estate, establishing a strong and memorable brand is crucial for success. While traditional marketing strategies still play a vital role, incorporating captivating branding photography into your marketing efforts can take your real estate business to new heights. Let’s explore the power of branding photography and why it's a game-changer for realtors looking to make a lasting impression in their market.

  1. Leave a Lasting Impression: In today's visually-driven society, first impressions matter more than ever. With professional branding photography, you can convey your unique selling proposition, showcase your properties in their best light, and capture the attention of potential clients. High-quality images that highlight your brand's personality and values will leave a lasting impression and differentiate you from your competitors.

  2. Build Trust and Credibility: Trust is the cornerstone of any successful real estate business. By investing in professional branding photography, you demonstrate your commitment to excellence and attention to detail. Showcasing stunning visuals of your past successes, happy clients, and your team in action builds credibility and instills confidence in potential clients, ultimately leading to more inquiries and conversions.

  3. Tell Your Brand Story: Every real estate brand has a unique story to tell. Branding photography provides the perfect opportunity to visually narrate your story, showcasing the journey, values, and passion behind your business. Whether it's through images of your team, how you help your clients or community involvement, you can create an emotional connection with your audience, making your brand more relatable and memorable.

  4. Amplify Your Online Presence: In today's digital landscape, having a strong online presence is non-negotiable. Branding photography provides a treasure trove of visually captivating content that can be used across your website, social media platforms, email campaigns, and online listings. Eye-catching images will not only increase engagement but also encourage social sharing, expanding your reach and attracting a larger audience of potential clients.

  5. Stay Ahead of the Competition: While many realtors understand the importance of professional listing photos, incorporating branding photography into your marketing strategy sets you apart from the competition. By investing in high-quality visuals that embody your brand, you position yourself as a leader in the industry and create a memorable impression that your competitors simply can't match.

  6. Having Fresh Marketing Images Throughout the Year: Having fresh marketing portraits helps keep your audience from becoming blind to your message. Because of our quick digital world, we are inundated with pictures and your audience will scroll right on by if something doesn’t grab their attention. If you use the same headshot on every piece of marketing that you’ve used for the past year or years, your audience has been subconsciously conditioned to ignore that image. Having enough fresh and interesting branding portraits to help you market throughout the year will help your audience to pause and notice you. Not to mention give you enough collateral to have the right headshots on the right social platform, have the right image for the right piece of marketing, or have the perfect image for the right season.

In today's visually-driven real estate market, leveraging the power of branding photography is an essential step towards elevating your brand and standing out from the crowd. By investing in professional images that tell your unique story, build trust, and leave a lasting impression, you can amplify your online presence, attract more clients, and ultimately achieve greater success in your real estate business. Embrace the power of branding photography today and witness the transformative impact it can have on your marketing efforts.

3 Tips for Your Next Professional Profile Headshot: Columbus GA Auburn Opelika Headshot Photographer

Wes RobertsComment

We’ve all done it! We’ve scanned through our phones to find the profile picture that just absolutely says “this is me, this is what I’m about”. While images of you on the beach or eating your favorite dinner with your special may speak to family and friends, how does it really speak to those you don’t know or those who could potentially hire you for a role in their business?

This is where having a professional profile headshot can help you rise above and set yourself apart from the “competition”. Did you know that most employers will scan an applicant’s personal social media to get an idea of who they are and if they would make a good fit for the business? So having a great headshot is essentially making a great first impression.

With that said, I know not everyone feels comfortable in front of a camera, especially in a studio setting; it can feel intimidating and a little awkward. So what do you do if that’s you? Here are a few tips to get you through it and to come away with a few images that you’ll like.

!. Practice: I know it sounds crazy but looking in a mirror and actually practicing your smile will help. It gives you the opportunity to notice things and then correct them. If you’ve never been a fan of big smiling with teeth, then practice what a soft smile is or even just smiling with your eyes. Simply, it makes you aware and allows you to accommodate.

2. Small Talk Before the Session: One of the things I do even if it’s for a brief few minutes is try to make who I’m photographing feel as much at ease as possible with a bit of small talk. It can be as simple as “tell me about what you’ve been up to today” or me just asking questions about what you do or your background. My goal is to get you talking and comfortable so that you really don’t even realize we are easing into the session. You might want to initiate this if your photographer doesn’t.

3. Laughing: As silly as it sounds laughing is a natural expression that can be contagious and leaves the viewer with a sense of warmth or happiness. Remember the “first impression” mention? So don’t be afraid to add in a few laughing looks…even if it’s a fake laugh…which usually turns into a real laugh.

and I’ll give you a bonus tip….

4. Go In With A Game Plan: Give a little thought to what you might need these images for. If you are a realtor, you might need a good smile or soft smile for any speaking/conference you attend. But you may also need a good warm smile or laughing photo for marketing material that will connect with potential clients.

I hope these tips help you get some images you’ll love and be able to use.
